Build a Better Sandwich for your Man, 1976 

Interestingly, this advert seems unfinished. It may be the storyboard version, which is a mock-up advert, created before the final version. It is one of the only Shippam's adverts that features a black individual, Rowland Butcher, the first black cricketer to represent England.

When Sandwichmakers first launched, the Nottingham Trading Standards filed a case against the product's spreadability, stating it did not conform to the meat and fish spreadable regulations. Following legal proceedings, the product was relaunched.

There is no evidence that this advert was made into a final version, perhaps due to the legal proceedings.
